Media & Public Relations Coordinator

SUMMARY

Responsible for social media management and strategies to bring more awareness to PSPinc, the company’s services, and client’s services. As our Media & Public Relations Coordinator you will coordinate the online marketing presence of the company, which includes managing social media efforts, preparing online newsletters, and coordinating online marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills, written and oral, strong organization and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Help develop the company and it’s clients’ social media strategy and goals to increase engagement and with customers and expanding reach and exposure.
  • Plan online promotional activities specifically linked to the company and client’s online presence.
  • Coordinate campaigns and programs - including website updates and utilization; updates content based on patterns identified in the analytics data.
  • Evaluates market reactions to programs to ensure timely adjustment of strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Conducts market surveys and focus groups on current and new product concepts. Works with Sales team to analyze this data and provide recommendations to improve marketability.
  • Maintains media contacts and NMSDC corporate lists.
  • Prepares applications for different listing opportunities including but not limited to Puget Sound Business Journal Listings, and INC 5000.
  • Manages all social media platforms, including preparing posts and engaging on others posts with PSPinc’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and online blog.
  • Prepares and broadcasts company newsletters to continue to engage customers.
  • Responsible for managing pay-per-click and other online advertising campaigns for PSPinc and clients.
  • Create and generate reports for online activity for visitors to PSPinc and client websites. Able to make recommendations to content and strategy based on those results.
  • Monitors and ensures search engine optimization for PSPinc and client websites.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Communications or relate field
  • 1-2 years of related social media marketing experience

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Fluency in Japanese preferred but not required
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expert level understanding and utilization of Google Analytics
  • Superb attention to detail to ensure all websites, social media posts, blogs, press releases, and newsletters have a consistent voice and use of industry terms.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) to prepare graphics for socials
  • Experience with video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro preferred but not required
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create detailed and useful reports.
  • Experience with managing multiple accounts using automated software such as HootSuite highly preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Customer Support

SUMMARY

This position maintains Internet Service customer relationships by assisting and working with customers in regards to their Internet service and general inquiries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Keeps customers well informed of any service related notification.
  • Enters customer information in the systems, and organizes data on the database.
  • Operates in-house seminars by presenting to small groups of potential customers how our products work (for example: newsMAIL and WebdeXpress).
  • Meets with clients to discuss our services if needed.
  • Prepares price quotations for various project requests from customers.
  • Invoices (work with HQ Team) and all other related tasks.
  • Supports the Customer Support and Sales Support departments by assisting clients with in-house-developed software and other technology needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Server Engineer

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, supporting, and reporting on server and network environment at PSP to ensure that services are available to all users while pursuing an uptime of 99.99+%.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Detects error/problematic messages that signal malfunction in server and/or network by monitoring display screen, checking alert emails, and communicating with 3rd vendors or business partners.
  • DNS support such as Initial setting, Update, Backup, Deletion, and Restoring.
  • Log extraction to support Advanced System Engineer for trouble shootings.
  • Network support such as IP block on Firewall/Server, Enable/Disable port on Firewall and connectivity test using commands like ping, tracert, lookup, latency, hop testing, and so on.
  • Makes requested reports for customers/business partners.
  • HW replacement such as HDD, RAM, RAID Battery, NIC and so on.
  • Responds to system errors within designated time-frame.
  • Windows/Linux server creation (HV/VM) from the scratch / by clone
  • Failover machine setup/verification for Windows and Linux environments
  • Storage setup such as Volume creation /expansion /deletion
  • Backup setting for Windows and Linux servers
  • Physical server setup including mounting and cabling.
  • Network gear mounting for Switch, Router, and Firewall.
  • Firewall configuration setup for Windows and Linux environments
  • Switch configuration setup for Windows and Linux environments
  • Alerts setup on the monitoring system
  • SSL certificate support for installation and renewal for Windows and Linux environments
  • Condition checks of Data center.
  • Makes announcements for maintenance for internal/external users
  • Uses CLI (Command Line Interface) to accomplish tasks.
  • Troubleshoots and assists customers to perform any remediation steps necessary when problems are realized. (e.g. Troubleshooting for email environment by using IMAP repair tool and Service/Server restart.)
  • Spam support such as removal of spam email from mail queue
  • Data recovery support such as restoring web contents/missing emails from backup
  • Hacking investigation
  • Updates documentation to record new equipment installed and changes made to computer configurations.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have any direct reports. Occasionally it is required to delegate work to other engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS
