Fisher Plaza Power Outage Report
07-06-09

This report is produced by PSP with the knowledge and understanding of the event as of July 6, 2009.

Cause of Power Outage
According to Seattle City Light, Fisher Plaza’s equipment (we believe the transformers) caught on fire which caused the sprinkler system to turn on in Level 2 of the Parking Garage at Fisher Plaza around 11:15pm on Thursday, July 2, 2009.

Due to the sprinkler system coming on, the rooms for the transformers and generators received water damage. There are two generators on site, of which one started. Due to the water damage, the power could not be supplied from this working generator.

Please go to the below referenced web link for the Outage Summary and Timeline.

Fisher Plaza
Two temporary generators were brought to Fisher Plaza to run the operations. Together with the working generator in the basement, Fisher Plaza East is now operating under the power of three generators.

As of 11am, July 6, 2009, we have not heard from Fisher Plaza for their action plans as to what is next. We will continue to demand answers from Fisher Plaza and communicate the updates with you.

We truly apologize for all the inconvenience we have caused to all of you. We regret we have had too many outages related to the Fisher Plaza building. We plan to change this by looking at alternative data center options.

We will continue to keep you up to date on the developments as we receive updates from Fisher Plaza.

Sincerely,
