wordpress 7.0.3 is released

Multiple vulnerabilities have been discovered in the content management system “WordPress,” and a security update has been released.
We recommend that users running versions of WordPress older than 7.0.3 update as soon as possible.

 

The WordPress development team published an advisory on August 6, 2026 (local time), announcing the release of “WordPress 7.0.3,” a security update that addresses multiple vulnerabilities.
A total of 12 issues have been addressed, including cross-site scripting (XSS), privilege escalation, information disclosure, and server-side request forgery (SSRF).
