WebdeXpress: PNG Image Upload Issue in Safari on Mac

We have identified an issue affecting the image upload functionality in WebdeXpress, the website builder included with Dreamersi Web Hosting. The issue occurs in certain browsers.

Issue Description

When using WebdeXpress in Safari on a Mac, PNG files cannot be selected when uploading images from local files in the following areas:

Affected Areas

• Customize Theme > Custom Logo > Upload
• Customize Theme > Header Images > Select a header image under Header Type > Upload
• Single Page Mode > Select Narrow Content Area > Upload

Affected Environment

• Device: Mac
• Browser: Safari

We are currently investigating the cause of this issue and working on a fix.

How to Upload Images

Until the issue is resolved, please use one of the following workarounds to upload your images.

Option 1: Use Google Chrome

When using Google Chrome on a Mac, you can select and upload PNG files from your local files as usual.

Option 2: Select Images from the Image List

If you are using Safari, you can still select PNG files from the file manager built into WebdeXpress by choosing “List Images” in the image upload dialog.

If the image has not yet been uploaded to WebdeXpress, first upload it by selecting File > Upload Files.
