QR Codes enable mobile phone users to be directed to a web site. At the web site you can display product information, issue a coupon, get user information, display your contact information, or exchange a business card.

A QR Code is a two-dimensional bar code designed by DENSO WAVE, a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, to track their parts. QR Codes can be easily read by many cell phones with a camera and QR reader application (link to QR Application Program). QRANY is a custom QR Code programming affiliated with PSP.
Once the bar code is read it will open a browser that takes users to a specific website programmed into the QR design. There are many business applications for QR Codes and since DENSO WAVE made QR Codes open to the public it is easy to create custom QR codes for your business needs.
How Are QR Codes Being Used?
